A group led by Birmingham’s LIV Development LLC is planning to expand Peachtree Assisted Living of Trussville. In a press release, LIV Development said Trussville Senior Housing Investors LLC purchased the property at 3740 Eagle Drive. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Peachtree Assisted Living of Trussville is currently a 25-bed facility, and the new ownership will invest in upgrades to the current building as well as construction of an expansion that will include 30 new independent residences for seniors. The expansion will include dining and fitness amenities and a movie/theater room, among other features. “We are proud of our investment in senior housing in the greater Birmingham area, where it is close to us, and look forward to becoming an integral contributor to the Trussville community,” said Graham Black of LIV Development.
